Elephant at Serengeti National Park
Elephants are largest land mammal. Male elephants weigh almost twice as such as female and have more forehead and heavier and longer tusks females have a pointed forehead.
Elephants spend 16hrs a day feeding, interspersed with visits to suitable mud wallows, after which they often shower themselves with dust and rub against trees or boulders , all of which helps to remove ticks and keep their skin in good condition.
All elephants secrete a thick, strong-smelling substance called temporin from temporal glands.

MOUNT KILIMANJARO A SUMMIT OF AFRICA
MOUNT KILIMANJARO
Elevation :
The three prominent peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro
• Kibo - 5,895 m (19,340 ft.)
• Mawenzi - 5,149 m (16,896 ft.)
• Shira - 3,962 m (13,000 ft.)
One of Africa's true icons, Kilimanjaro is the
continent's best-known and highest mountain
and appears on nearly every adventurers' list of
'must-dos'. And once you see the snow-capped
peak of this majestic mountain, you'll
understand why. A number of routes to the
summit are available, and you can choose
according to how much time you have, how fit
you are and how far 'off the beaten track' you
want to get. We at Easy Travel can advise you of
the best route for you, as well as taking care of
all the complex and important arrangements,
essential to giving you the best Kilimanjaro
experience.
Although no specialist climbing expertise or
equipment is required, the ascent of 'Kili' does
demand a reasonable level of fitness and some
steely determination. It should never be
underestimated, nor undertaken with anyone
other than a reputable operator. But the
rewards for trekkers are undoubtedly
worthwhile, for this is much more than a mere
mountain. Formed through the coming -
together of three now - extinct volcanoes,
Mount Kilimanjaro passes through a number of
distinct vegetation zones on its way skywards.
The diversity of forest, moorland, alpine and
arctic landscapes guarantees the intrepid
climber the chance to admire a fascinating
variety of mammals, insects and plant life –
welcome distractions, perhaps, from the hard
work of climbing. Africa summit with African King Tours & Safaris

GIRAFFE|TWIGA
Giraffe|Twiga(Giraffa camelopardalis)
Giraffes are the tallest mammals in the world. Despite their size, giraffes like humans have only seven neck vertebrae.
There are Masai Giraffe(Giraffa camelopardalis tippelskirchi) Reticulated Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis reticulata) and Rothschild's Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi)
Giraffe are diurnal and nocturnal and usually found in parties of 5-20 individuals. Though giraffe are gregarious they rarely interact with another and do not form bonds.
Instead of defending a territory, adolescent males establish a dominance hierarchy by a ritualized form of fighting called "necking".
Females do not form a dominance hierarchy and do not 'neck'.
Bulls test females for oestrus by inducing them to urinate, then collecting a sample in their mouth and curling their upper lip to help them analyze the hormone content and determine if female is read to mate.
Giraffes are ruminants, browsing on trees and bushes particularly on acacia leaves, pods and soft thorns using upper lip and 45-50cm prehensile tongue to reach among the foliage.
